• You'll most likely be flying into Leh. Spend the day acclimatizing. There will be a lot of traveling over the next few days, so make sure you get plenty of rest.
• After you've had enough rest, you could go to LehPalace, LehMarket, or Shanti Stupa. However, we advise you not to overdo it.
• Begin at Lehand travel to Lamayuru.
• On the journey, you'll pass by Gurudwara PattharSahib, Magnetic Hill, and SangamPoint.
• Once in Lamayuru, you can visit the LamayuruMonastery.
• This will be a long day of Riding, so get started early from Lamayuruor Khaltse. It is preferable to begin by 6 a.m. Then you'll arrive in Padumon time and be able to stop at several locations along the way for photography breaks.
•The road from Lamayuruto Wanlais in fair condition. The real trek, however, begins a few kilometers beyond Wanla. Prepare for difficult driving and poor road conditions.
• Sir SirLa, the second highest pass on this route, will take roughly 2 hours to reach.
• Drive from Sir SirLa to Photoksar, then to Singe La, the highest pass on this road.
• Lingshedfollows Singe La. If you wish to visit the LingshedMonastery, you must take an uphill detour. Visit the monastery only if you have enough time, as the travel from Lingshedto Padumwill take at least 4 hours.
• Following Lingshed, there are several loops. These corners are quite steep, but fortunately, you must drive downhill. Driving on these bends is challenging if you are taking the opposite road, from Padum to Leh. Your four-wheeler will suffer as a result.
•So, if you're traveling this route via Lingshed, go from Lehto Zanskar, not the other way around.
• After the loops, you'll come to the Lingshedbrook, which you must cross.
• Padum will be reached after another 3-4 hours of driving, depending on how many breaks you take.
• Padum is a good place to spend the night. You can also stay at a homestay in one of the nearby villages.
• Begin early and visit few monasteries near Padum.
• Stongdey Gompa, Stakrimo, and PibitingMonastery are all worth seeing.
• Then proceed to Purneor Cha village. It takes roughly 2.5 hours to drive from Padumto Purneand Cha village. The roads are in poor condition. So get started by noon.
• Purne and Cha are two villages on opposite banks of the Tsarap River. There is a hike path from both settlements to Phugtal Gompa. The path from Cha village is little easier.
• Hike to the PhugtalMonastery. Depending on your fitness level and the number of pauses you take, the trek should take about 2-3 hours.
• Investigate PhugtalMonastery. It is one of ZanskarValley's most distant monasteries. Visiting Phugtalmonastery, often known as the cave monastery, is an experience in and of itself.
• Return to Purne/Cha, then drive back to Padum.
• It's time to say good-by to ZanskarValley. Start early in the morning from Padumand drive to Rangdum.
• Stop along the road to observe the Drang DrungGlacier, PensiLa Pass, and the twin Lakes. The scenery is breathtaking, and you'll want to take numerous photo breaks.
• Visit the RangdumMonastery, which is just a few kilometers ahead of the settlement.
• Rangdumis a good place to spend the night. In the village, there is one guest house and a couple of homestays.
• Begin early in the morning and drive through the lovely SuruValley.
• ParkachikGlacier will be encountered along the journey. If you wish to visit Parkachiksettlement, you must take a detour.
•Panikharis another lovely village along the road.
• Views of the enormous Nun and Kun peaks are also available.
• Finally, after passing via Sankoo, arrive in Kargil for the night.
• On this day, start early, preferably at 07:00-07:30 a.m., to traverse the SHAM valley en route.
• Pass through FatuLa Top.
• Depart at Leh making sure you have all these memories living in you for your whole life
